This report is, at its core, your story.
Every year we reflect on what the community has achieved, but this year the challenge wasn’t finding the highlights — it was keeping up with the sheer volume of activity. There has been so much happening across our global network. More engagement, more action, more collaboration, more leadership in motion. This movement is real, it’s growing, and it’s picking up serious steam.
Together we are growing stronger, smarter, and more united, delivering real impact – this is the power of procurement!
In the spirit of getting more done, faster, with more impact, you — the SPP community of Procurement professionals — have stepped forward with courage, creativity and purpose. You’ve strengthened this movement from every angle: as ambassadors, volunteers, co-chairs, advisors, and participants in the Champions Program. And because of you, the power of procurement has never been more visible globally.
Among the many stories, tools and moments captured in this report, we are especially proud to celebrate:
- The evolving culture of openness, trust and collaboration that continues to define this work— and the courage of procurement professionals who are stepping into their power with greater confidence.
- The drive of individuals across the community to grow, connect and take action, contributing to a shared mission that’s bigger than any one organization.
- The expanding support and partnerships across our ecosystem, creating new opportunities to empower procurement professionals and accelerate impact.
This report is an invitation to join us on a journey — a journey that celebrates how far we’ve come, reflecting on the lessons learned, and reminding us why this community matters. It’s a moment to pause and appreciate the connections we’ve made, the conversations that moved us forward, and the collective action we’ve sparked. And it’s a reminder that this is just the beginning.
Because the next five years are our window of impact. Everything we’ve built, tested, piloted and strengthened now needs to be put into full motion — to go further, faster, and with even more impact.
To begin this journey, we invite you to start with this video, then dive into the stories and tools that show the SPP community in action throughout 2024/25: the people driving change, the spaces we’ve created for collaboration and learning, and the ways we have collectively filled knowledge, implementation, leadership and collaboration gaps.
You’ll also find guidance to navigate the community and design your own SPP journey. Our hope is that this report becomes a useful companion — not just today, but throughout the months to come.
Above all, this report is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for contributing, participating, experimenting, and amplifying. Thank you for bringing your expertise, your passion, and your voice. This community is powerful because of you — and we hope you feel proud as you see your impact reflected back.
