We are a Global Community of procurement professionals working collaboratively around the globe to drive the mission and vision of SPP forward. The many individuals who have taken The Pledge and the SPP Team come together to make up this unique organization, the Sustainable Procurement Pledge.
We are here to support each other, to be the megaphone for what is working, and to accelerate change. We are collaborating on finding solutions, and at the core, we are getting things done to leave a legacy of a new procurement profession. SPP is about the individuals that make us the community. Together we are setting up SPP for scalable growth and impact and building an organization at the service of the global SPP community of procurement professionals. We have taken up the vision set forth by Thomas and Bertrand and are building on the work of the K–Team Volunteers to drive this groundbreaking and disruptive movement.
Our SPP Advisors are far more than advisors—they are doers, collaborators, and problem-solvers. We are proud to recognize their ongoing contributions to SPP. They roll up their sleeves to support the Global Team, bringing expertise, networks, and fresh ideas that keep us moving forward.
Every Advisor shares the vision of building a strong, empowered global community of procurement professionals, collaborating to make a real impact. Living the five principles of the SPP Pledge, they help ensure that SPP remains true to its values and a safe, ever evolving space for procurement, by procurement.
Together, we transform the ideas, needs, and aspirations of our community into tangible outcomes. Alongside our Co-Chairs, their core teams, interns, and the broader community, Advisors are part of the living movement that makes SPP a global force that gets things done.
This peer group offers a space for CPOs to come together within the SPP Champions Program with the focus on CHAMPIONING the SPP vision and to work collectively to accelerate our shared aim of embedding sustainable procurement practices through cross-industry, peer collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
The Champions meet to have an open dialogue about what is working, what challenges they are facing, and knowledge they can share and to signal within their organizations and beyond that they personally want to champion the structural and culture shift we need to reach our goals by 2030.
As Champions we acknowledge that we need to work together from the top down and the bottom up.
The members of the Transformation Panel are an integral part of the Champions Program. Appointed by the Champions, they are responsible for embedding sustainability in procurement in their organizations and beyond. They work together to capability build their functions as they support their broader teams. Together with SPP, they work to empower and equip their procurement teams by encouraging and providing access to a wide range of resources and engagement opportunities, developed for procurement, by procurement – across all regions, sectors, and issues.
SPP is here for you and with you. Together we are building a truly dynamic and powerful global movement, dedicated to getting things done fast. Every Ambassador can get involved to gain a community and knowledge but also to contribute to the work of SPP. Whether you are a Procurement veteran or new to the profession, if you have endless hours to contribute or just a few hours a month, you can help move our shared mission forward by getting involved.
SPP is a Community driven by a shared vision. Many of you have given of your time, knowledge, expertise and passion. We are so grateful for the immense drive and support of all those that have been part of our story until now. The SPP Alumni recognizes all those that have volunteered over the years and taken up key roles to get us to where we are today.
