SPP establishes it’s Advisory Council

I am thrilled to share that the SPP team is beginning the important work of convening an Advisory Council, a pivotal milestone on our journey as we approach 2030. It is with great pride that we announce Nancy Gillis as the first member to be appointed in the role of Strategic Advisor: Thematic Curation.

‘I am honored and incredibly excited to become the first member of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge Advisory Council as Strategic Advisor: Thematic Curation advising the Global Team on delivering SPP’s mission and vision. Specific focus this year is identifying pressing topics in sustainable procurement, connecting external entities with SPP and helping build the member community by planning/attending/facilitating relevant events.  If you have advice on sustainable procurement topics our community should be addressing, let’s connect at the forthcoming World Ocean Summit and Expo (Lisbon March 11 – 13th) or the Procura+ conference (Lisbon March 13 – 14th).  And yes, procurement is sexy!’

With time flying by and ambitious goals ahead, your SPP team is excited to unite leaders in propelling procurement as a catalyst for global change. We will empower the procurement profession to shape a brighter future for all.

Please join me in warmly welcoming Nancy and together, let’s roll up our sleeves, making this year pivotal and transformational as we dive into the important work ahead.

Yours truly,
Mélissa de Roquebrune
