Starting in 2025, all Singapore-listed companies will be required to disclose their GHG emissions in accordance with IFRS S2. The SPP Singapore Chapter would like to take this opportunity to give you some insights about this disclosure standards, but more importantly to explore the critical role Procurement plays in supporting Scope 3 emissions reporting.
Here is what you can expect:
➡️ This workshop brings together supply chain and procurement leaders to explore the pivotal role of procurement in driving Scope 3 emissions reporting and reduction, with a focus on evolving mandatory reporting requirements such as IFRS S2.
➡️ Expert speakers will first share insights on the reporting requirements and methods available, and where Procurement has a role to play, with a practical example on Schneider Electric on supplier engagement.
➡️ The participants will then participate in a group exercise to discuss strategies for effective measurement, management, and reporting Scope 3 emissions, and how procurement can lead cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement to achieve meaningful emissions reductions. The event fostered valuable networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, and actionable takeaways for sustainable supply chain leadership.
