This workshop builds upon the Integrating Carbon into Decision Making Guide published in May 2025. The Guide is a practical resource designed to help procurement leaders embed carbon considerations into sourcing processes, using carbon as a commercial lever.

It reflects our belief that no matter your company’s size, maturity, or operating model, there is a way forward. The Guide was built with flexibility in mind, understanding that context matters—market leverage, supplier relationships, and data availability should shape your approach. Recognizing that not every team has the tools or internal support to price carbon directly, the guide outlines a range of accessible options—from simple screening methods to full environmental price adjustments

The guide complements the carbon pricing conversation we started with the Carbon Pricing in Procurement Initiative.

Your speaker:

Lewis Howard is Co-CEO of BRAE and developed the Integrating Carbon into Decision Making Guide for SPP. He will lead you through the  key elements of the guide and provide practical implementation advice.
