Responsibly
Supply chain sustainability management is broken. Suppliers get audited on the same topics >60 times per year and are drowned in surveys. Buyers don’t have transparency and guidance to manage sustainability in their supply chains. Our advanced data engine evaluates the sustainability of every supplier, while guiding your sustainability and procurement teams to take action.
Our platform helps you work through supply chain sustainability from risk identification to supplier evaluation and scoring to action, improvement and reporting.
We’re built on a novel data foundation that allow us to aggregate risk and supplier data across the full data landscape. That means we’re both connected to structured data sources like different certifiers, disclosure sites, or governmental databases, but also that we crawl your suppliers websites and sustainability reports to pick out unstructured information like a GHG emissions number. That allows us to aggregate all existing data on your suppliers before we engage them to significantly reduce the burden on the supplier, and increase your data coverage. We do this first from a risk perspective, which means contextual data around their industry, region, and the news/media landscape, and then from a supplier perspective. You can also upload information that you’ve already collected, or synchronize other data sources like an audit provider with the system. This allows you to centralize all supplier sustainability data in one system, and gives you access to more data both pre-and post-supplier engagement than with any other solution.
Data in itself is difficult to use and take action on, so we help you manage and take action on your supply chain in two primary ways:
1. Sustainability objective management: Objectives are where you manage the performance of a group of suppliers for a specific sustainability objective. You can evaluate 74 different ESG parameters in Responsibly which covers the full sustainability space from emissions to child labor. However, uniquely about Responsibly is that we allow you to tailor the evaluation and the recommendations based on your sustainability objectives. You can create and customize your own objectives to manage different priorities like Decarbonization, Compliance, or Diversity. You can dynamically manage risk and only evaluate what matters like diving deep into human rights parameters with high-risk overseas suppliers, while focusing on e.g. diversity for North American suppliers. You can have a Deforestation objective for your packaging suppliers and a Water Stewardship objective for your agricultural goods suppliers. This allows you to focus on the topics that matter to you and gain deep transparency into the performance of your suppliers, instead of a one size fits all black box score that you don’t know what means. We can help you set up the different objectives that apply to your supply chain, or you can completely customize it yourself.
We then understand and normalize the wide variety of data we collect to summarize the performance of that objective and help you take action and guide specific suppliers to improve.
2. Scorecards: When you have set up sustainability objectives, we generate supplier-specific scorecards that show you their performance on those objectives. Those scorecards help you navigate sourcing decisions and you can see how a new supplier will help contribute to your objectives, or what topics you need to focus on with an existing supplier during a performance management meeting. These scorecards can be integrated across your procurement tech stack so you always have the data you need where you need it.
Your suppliers are empowered to take action through our supplier portal which is free to use. They get guided on how to improve certain scores, and they can easily collect and share data across their different initiatives and customers.
