Today, an estimated 160 million children between the ages of 5 and 17 are victims of child labor globally. And the crisis continues to escalate. Children being forced to work in the world’s fields, factories and mines that power global supply chains is modern slavery. For most global companies, child exploitation feels remote. The sad reality is that underage workers are responsible for many of today’s finished goods and produce.
