2023 Annual Meeting | The SPP League of Champions & Transformational Panel

On September 13, 2023 the Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP) held its first in-person Champions program meeting. The event in Berlin, Germany, brought together over 40 members of the SPP community, such as the League of Champions, the Transformational Panel, and SPP Chapters, as well as ecosystem partners such as the First Movers Coalition of the World Economic Forum, UN Global Compact Network Germany, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Harvard Business School. The agenda celebrated the progress made in the SPP’s first 1000 days and The Guide – the result of the collaboration of Chief Procurement Officers and their procurement team members from 20 companies engaged in the SPP Champions program. In active discussions and workshops, participants explored how best to leverage the role of procurement leadership in accelerating sustainable impact within the SPP Community and beyond.
